Hiya! I'm excited to share an honest to goodness 12x12 scrapbook layout! I feel like it's been so long since I've created one of these. But this photo needed a special page all its own! I love this pile up of my nephew, boyfriend, dog and nephew's dog. Chaos ensues when my nephew is here and I think this photo captures that! I printed it out at 5x7.
I don't often use brown in my scrapbooks. It's my least favorite color. But the woodgrain went so well with the photo and the neutral color helped all of the awesome colorful products pop! It's from the
Live Laugh Love Paper Collection.
I used Elle's Studio
September 2017 monthly kit and extras for this page. I loved the bright happy colors of the journaling tags and wanted to get as many as I could on the page. I also thought it was fun that the yellow in the kit matched the lamp shade in the photo so well!
To mimic how they were stacked up on top of each other in the photo, I stacked my journaling tags up on the side.
I threw the
"Favorite" acrylic word on here because this was my favorite photo from the day. Although, I think "Light up my Life" (from the
Date Night Stamp Set) is a better title for the page. Even though it's less dominant and very small on this page.
I embellished with the
Acrylic Buttons (my favorite of the extras!) and
Autumn Sequins plus just a few die cuts from the kit. With all of the energy the photo and the colors I didn't want to overwhelm the page. And this goes in line with the latest The Awesome Ladies project trend watch of
adding embellishments along the seam.
