FIT 2018 | February 2018

Hiya! I'm back to share my February 2018 Fit pages! I blogged my January start here. And I'm happy to still be going strong on the decorative aspect to this project. Maybe not so much on the actual health and wellness side. Le sigh...But as my intention page said last month. I'm still going to keep working at it!

I filled out the journaling page to reflect back on my January. Since it's so black and white I went back with a yellow marker to highlight a few words here and there. I also paper clipped an additional 3x4 card to this because I really wanted to solidify what clean eating means to me. Used the Elle's Studio Icon stamp set for that little card.

Last month, I included a little calendar journaling tag (Elle's Studio 2018 Calendars) but didn't show how I was planning to fill it out. This photo shows you what my intention around this is. I'm using Cathy's Fitness Tracker stamp set to show what kind of exercise I did that day.

My favorite of the printable cards are the health/food/fitness and personal/emotional/whole being cards so I'm making sure to print those every month. For the past two months I've also been printing out the to do card but I might change it up next month. I also created a bunch of my own cards to add color. They're all yellow and they each have a quote.

This last page is my February creative prompt which I love! It's on my daily to do to write down one thing I'm grateful for every day. But I loved this list of 10 things to continue to reflect on. I have so much to be grateful for!

"2018 Title" Scrapbook Layout

Oh man am I excited to share this page! It's the title to my 2018 album and I have to say, it's very colorful! I wanted a rainbow on this page so I made that happen with the All the Details stamp set from Elle's Studio and eight different ink colors. "Urijah is GR8" Pocket Page

One section of my Home Mini Album is all about the gatherings we've had at the house! The first we had was a 8th birthday party for Urijah my nephew. I had so much fun playing with the blue and yellow from the February 2018 monthly kit and extras!

Since I had quite a few photos I made several pages and also cut down one of my page protectors to make a 3x8 "insert". I love that you can see the continuation of this spread peeking out behind it!

I journaled about the gathering and I also had to write about how this was the first time Tobi tagged along with Urijah. Oh man Tobi! I love me some dogs but he tries my patience....

I added a few die cuts from the kit and also puffy stickers, cork speech bubbles and icon wood veneer to embellish the photos and journaling tags. And I really stuck to the yellow, blue, gray and brown color scheme.

I also realized after I'd "finished" and photographed this that I forgot to add "is" to the title in between Urijah and GR8! Oh well, it's an easy fix.

"Craft Retreat" Pocket Page

I'm continuing to add to my Home Mini Album--the 6x8 pocket page album I started to document the first year in our first home. I have a process video putting together the first part of this album. You can see it here.

This spread is about my craft room and the bit of decor I have in there. It's been such a fun space to create in! And I had a blast using the February kit and extras to create this colorful spread. There's a rainbow of colors available this month!

"Favorite Red Chairs" Pocket Page

I so love this mini album project! It's all about our first year in our first home. I'm documenting the big things and the small things and my favorite things and whatever random other thing that pops into my head. You can see a process video of the first part of this album here.

The two main colors I used were red and green because there was so much great red and green in these photos! The spread itself is all about these awesome red chairs we picked up at Lowe's last summer.

I journaled about my relationship with the great outdoors and why I love these chairs so much!

But the real jumping off point for this spread was this fabulous heart 3x4 journaling tag. I'm sure it was intended for a bit more romance. But hey, it applies to my cheap plastic chairs too!
